And indeed she exhorts them to contribute to the good of the People of God by freely uniting themselves to the Passion and death of Christ.”

2. Mass (anointing, healing and funerals)
The sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is for persons whose health is seriously imperilled by illness or old age.
Each first Friday of the month there is Anointing of the Sick at the 9:15 am parish Mass.
Housebound anointed after 9:15 am Mass, First Friday. Please ring parish office in urgent cases
Please do not hesitate to request the sacrament for yourself or family members who are seriously unwell or about to undergo major surgery. The sacrament strengthens the person in faith and will bring about a physical improvement, if that be for the spiritual good of the person.

Please contact the parish office on (02) 9623 1962 if you would like a Priest to administer the Sacrament of Anointing to a family member who is gravely ill.
Please let the Parish Office know if a priest is urgent required.
